I have the same problem, discarded my dustwalkers cape instead of an uncommon

I did worse...went on my girlfriends account on weekend to buy her MIDA with her hard earned strange coins. While talking to her and staring at the screen I still went ahead and bought the exotic shard next to it! While watching myself do it! My punishment was having to grind the weekly heroic with her crappy characters to earn enough coins to buy it later. So annoying.
