PVP is perfectly balanced IMO.

Okay so people cry about shotguns... They're only strong in melee range. That's fine. Snipers are a 1 shot headshot... As they should be. Let's talk supers. They're called SUPERS. They're supposed to guarantee kills. Pretty much everything is fine IMO. If they kept it all as is, people will eventually adjust and realize it's perfectly balanced.

  • I agree as well, but the only thing I want is for them to treat special weapons like heavy weapons, as far as ammo. The amount on the map is fine, but imo we should start with none, and when we die lose what we've picked up. Other than that I think everything is fine. ( I snipe 90% of the time as well)

  • well my main issue is withe hunters super, don't think it should be nerfed though, my issue with it is that it seems to charge ridiculously fast... annoying

  • I like the pvp set up... Only thing I feel is op is totally fusion rifles I used one and blew up the Death Star. Also the defenders subclass for titans super is a bit op in control at least from a warlocks perspective but I'll find ways around it eventually.

    • Shotgun range needs a nerf. Fusion needs a wider spread less damage at range and assault rifles pulse and hand need an up on damage do headshots. My issue with the fusion and shotties is that it takes away the true skill of ranged combat and aiming for the head. Having a good solid AR battle and getting dome is where it should be at

      • Exactly. All primaries are beast! Secondaries IMO the sniper is the one to go to just because it's the least noob weapon as a secondary. Heavy is at an okay range as it is now. People will never stop complaining though. They've been complaining for two years nonstop. Anyways I agree that it's balanced. If you play like a monkey you will die. If you play even a little smart you'll benefit from a sure fire win.

        Its not perfectly balanced if people need to 'adjust'... I dont have a problem with MOST of the stuff however, and i dont find that anything is blatantly overpowered, but there are some things i feel need a little tuning. (In every class, both too strong/too weak)

      • They will adjust and realize it's perfectly balenced? Who's your weed dealer? People will always complain bītch and moan when something kills them and with cry about it more the more it kills them. Like campers. It's really a legitimate stratagy, better than running around and getting shot, you wait for someone to walk in your path. And people hate it because it works and kills them. Like I said, if it kills them, they'll cry over it.

        • I'd say reduce the special ammo spawns because I never run out of shotgun ammo even when I use it as my primary, other than that everything seems fine

          Cao Ni Ma Shotguns and Fusions are fine, except that special ammo is so abundant that they may as well be primaries. It detracts from those who ACTUALLY use primaries, because specials are generally stronger within their niche spot, and most people are going to be doing that. Snipers I'm fine with. The problem I have with them is that some maps are so big and in some spots so lacking in cover, or have some deadly lines of sight (cough Bastion Fist Light) that Sniping is excessively easy. Not to mention Patience and Time. Never in a game have I seen a weapon that encourages camping to the point that you are given free advantageous. (For those who don't know: You go invisible when you ADS with that Exotic Sniper) The supers are unbalanced. They're situational; Sometimes they're the most useless shit and other times they're super powerful, and they have NOTHING to do with skill in terms of that; just heavy luck and chance.

          • Fine apart from rewarding afkers, putting lvl 2 chars against lvl 27 fireteams and giving legendary engrams to 0 kill and 0.00 K/D ratio players. IMO that is far from being balanced, lol...

            • I'm in love with the game and can't find myself to stop playing but I have to respectfully disagree with it being balanced. Not so much with the weapons but the guardian you choose is where I'm seeing the unbalanced aspect of PvP. I'm sorry but Hunters are incredibly overpowered. I get it I get it. Everyones class has its on special perks and people think that other classes are OP. But Jesus, the duration and damage resistance from blade dancer.....the duration for golden gun (which not a lot of people use because blade dancer lasts longer) is entirely too long as well. I've never been more annoyed at an opponent than hunters in the crucible and they are EVERYWHERE. I personally play as a Titan and I've played with the Warlock these two classes I consider "fair" classes. As a titan I have to find you first then pop my FOH and hope I come across a group of 3 people standing in the same small vacinity. Hunters pop blade dancer and slice through the air to lunge forward and hit each person one slice at a time. Not to mention blink. As if they aren't bad enough as it is. I take aim. Poof. Gone. Where is he? Oh, behind me with no way of stopping him from blinking 20 yards and pops me in the back with a shotgun or a fusion rifle. If it weren't for the cape you propably would have second guessed being a hunter anyways.

              Only problem I have with PvP is that special weapons are used more than normal weapons, ammo is to readily available for them. I think ammo crates should be in the center of maps so teams actually have to fight over keeping their guns loaded

            • I find the bladedancer Hunter is OP, seen a single Hunter take out entire teams in seconds

              • Warlock seems to have a little less overall utility than Titan and Hunter IMHO, but I still get destroyed by them as they gently float above me and blast me in the face... And granted I have mainly leveled a Hunter (21) and a Titan (13), but just based on observations in objective matches like Control or Salvage, a Hunter with Blade Dancer can easily kill an entire room and take an objective (so satisfying but seems a lot harder for a Titan or Warlock atm). And a Titan that throws a panic bubble at the right moment can be pretty handy as well in games like Skirmish/Salvage. And mainly it seems like the secondary Super Radiance is under powered a little, like maybe it should apply to players within 10 yards or should make the Warlock less squishy. They just seem to die a lot when I see them using Radiance.

                • But sometime we are at the exact same range, we both shoot with our shot gun, I die and he lose half of the white shield... I may have sometime missed my shot, but some other time, we are so close to each other that my gun touch him. This happen so many time and is unfair. There is something laggy about the game, just think about how the freaking hell can you get a postmortem MELEE kill!?!?!? it happen ALL the time.

                • I think Fusion rifles should be nerfed,as well as the Hunters bladedancer supercharge.It lasts far to long and lets be honest,its just not as balanced as the other classes...As for everything else,i think everything else is fine and should be kept the same :3

                • Pulse rifles are a little over powered. Scout rifles are very under powered. Auto rifles are perfect now Shot guns should be 2 hit kill, not one. Pulse rifle should be 1 1/2 hit kill. Supers are fine.

                  No shotguns OP and Fusion rifles OP spawning with snipers is all too much fire power off spawn if you die you should lose all special ammo.
