I always leave if I'm set up against Phogoth. That strike is so damn infuriating and several times more difficult than all other strikes combined.

Not difficult really. Just much more tedious. What you have to do is gave 1 guy focus on Poghoth the whole time. The other 2 kills enemies when they spawn, then join the guy fighting phogoth. That's the best strat IMO. But also don't stay close to each other so you can draw his attention. That way he doesn't focus on a single person for long

That is similar to what I do, though when I was playing Phogoth on my own I focused on the mob then phogoth as I cannot remember Phogoth ever hitting me as he is so slow...

He hits me pretty easily. I'm going to try upping my agility stat next time I play that strike and see if that helps.

It's about coming up with a strategy. If only "pros" can come up with strategies then you're not gonna be able to do much in this game.

If you read the responses I gave people offering me constructive advice, you'd see that this isn't the case. I'm obviously not going to take someone seriously when the first thing they say to me is "You must be bad."

Its not being pro...he is simply a slow bullet sponge, kill the mob and he is ez...

Kill the weaklings then move onto the knights and then wizards...just be mobile to start with and by the time cleared you can camp one spot...s Always focus on one enemy at a time, say 3 wizards appear, kill them 1 by 1, don't try and fire at all of them...

But don't they respawn indefinitely anyway? What's the point in killing them?

Nope they have a finite limit about 4 or 5 ships worth...you certainly have a long break from any mobs once you've gone through a few waves...though TBF I usually compete the whole mission in <15mins...

I find it very easy now. Especially since my buddy showed me that his crit spot is actually his exposed heart and not his head. Idk why I never noticed the heart before

Thanks for letting me know, but the issue for me isn't dealing damage, it's staying alive. :)

Phogoth was difficult for Me, too. I was told to "just keep moving", since I got that piece'a advice, I've sweeped that Strike.

That's what everyone tells me too, but then Pho just snipes me out of the air when I'm dodging enemy fire. Maybe I should up my agility for this fight? I'll give that a shot later.

Phogoth is a big fat noob...the dust palace is the worst...I hate those stupid flayers....

At least you can run away from the flayers when things are going badly. When battling Phogoth, you are constantly surrounded by enemies.
