Lack of reward for boss kills is why it's currently more efficient use of your time to farm low-level mobs. It's pretty disgusting. Spend 20min on a boss bullet-sponge and get jack shit, or spend 20min farming trash and get half a dozen engrams.
That's pretty broken.

Well, you're guaranteed items after completing a strike post mission thing, so you do technically get something from bosses.

Well. You get something, but it's sure not a reward. Only legendaries I've ever seen dropped from trash mobs.
