What I hate the most are people joining strikes when they are WAY underleveled for it. I had 2 level 20s join a level 22 strike and failed miserably. As you can probably guess, they both rage quit.

Edited by HHHdomination: 9/16/2014 12:38:59 PMI ran 22 strikes as 20 because that's when it's available and guess what? we succeeded. the highest was one guy level 21. Strategy and really good aim is all it takes.
-
Then I must've played with some awful people. They all rage quit cause they kept dying.
-
There are a lot of bad people out there who rely too heavily on their level and gear that's for sure.
-
Personally I will not join a random strike above my level so as not to be a hindrance. However, with friends is another story.
-
I'm a lvl 22 Titan and I've completed lvl 24 strikes no problem. I think it's probably more of a "people need to learn when to take cover or run away" problem. I may not have the most kills in a fire team but I tend to be the one with the least amount of deaths.
-
They probably had shit gear.
-
I believe for every level under you are, the damage you deal is cut down. I'm not sure though.
-
It is. If you're 2 lvls down you do about 60% less damage and take way more damage in and if you're 1 lvl down you do little more damage and take a little less damage
-
Artificial difficulty.... That's pathetic game design.
-
No, it's designed to discourage people jumping into strikes above their level. You already don't do enough damage/can't soak up enough damage, so they cut it even further to keep you from joining up for a level 22 at level 20 and being a hindrance.
-
People still do it anyway. They should have made levels be a requirement if they didn't want underleveled players playing them rather than further handicap underleveled players at the expense of the other players in the strike.
-
You realize the players can STILL make it through under leveled, they just have to play cautiously. And they don't.
