Does Mexico have the potential to become a global power?
Suppose that a major event takes place that severely reduces the cartel activity in Mexico. The Mexican government now has the ability to effectively run their country.
Can Mexico now become a global power? Why or why not?

3 RepliesI'll just say maybe. Only because the first thing is they have to get rid of the cartels but they haven't shown any ability to do so. This actually reminds me of a really good friend I have that hates it when I say she's American and actually wants to be referred to as Mexican.
