I would say no the only good halo was halo 1 and 2 after that they kind of sucked. And this has a lot more potential than halo does. it's more like a halo version of borderlands than a halo. Just give it time I'm shure it will be expanding a raised lvl cap new planets and more story quest just like they added stuff to borderlands 2. Tho just whish a new borderlands was here for next gen already.

Dude there's a number of reasons why I don't like destiny, it's another rip off version of Halo the story line to it is really bad, I dont even kno what's going on and the mulitplayer is unbalanced and not as fun

Gee a game made by bungee who made halo also btw... Of course there gonna have the same type of shit as most games do it's not like they can just make shot out of thin air it has to go through multiple people to even get approved so by using some of e same material that was once good in halo would make their decision easier

If you haven't noticed most video games share the basic same story line. Kind of reminds me more of borderlands 2 than it does halo tho. And it has a lot of growing potential unlike halo this will grow on it self. as in halo after the story all you had was multiplayer this has a lot more to come.

How was it balanced when it was broken and the weapon sand box is shit? If anything the most balanced one would be Halo CE.

You played with only friends linking boxes together. Only the PC version where you able to play other people online like today but by no means was it balanced. And how was it balanced when it was broken and weapon sand box shit??? You got me there have no clue what you are even trying to say. Like two non completed thoughts put into one sentence without finishing either of them.

[/quote] Having only online for the PC and not the Xbox version still doesn't change how they did the mechanics or the game not having the same problems as Halo 2. Last time I checked Halo CE doesn't have a instant kill button combo or a pistol that's useless by itself. Halo 2 on the other hand has that stuff and other problems. [quote]Weapon sand box being shit:[/quote] Bungie added in duel wielding which resulted in the weapons for it being half weapons. Any of those weapons by themselves is near useless. Even with the same weapon some are useless. Having 2 pistols is useless because of the damge output. Having 2 SMGs is not that great due to the damage output and range. They are only good on the mid tier and lower enemies. "The one gun to rule them all" thing got worse with this game. It's there in CE, but not as badly in Halo 2-Reach. The normal precision weapons owns the normal weapons almost every time. Even at close range a person with a BR has a good chance against someone with SMGs. With Halo CE the weapons are whole and each weapon is there due to a purpose, not there to be in the sandbox. The SMG is pretty redundant when it's basically the assault rifle. The AR has around the same damage as two and the range is about the same. They should have left the gun in the game instead of replacing it with one that's basically the same thing.

And really didn't get into halo much after halo 2 bc they messed up the ranking system horribly. But shure you could switch from a charged plasma pistol to the br for a quick kill. For the sword If you where good enough, sounds like you where not, you could make a sword user miss you and depending on the map he may fly off. The sword was powerful don't get me wrong but if you knew how to make them miss they where nothing to worry about. Halo 2 was not as broken as you think you just sucked. I am by no means a player of Rippons skill lvl and far from it. Tho I bet most of us are. but I did pretty well me and my group I played with floated around the lvl36 to 38 never did hit 40
