Excellent analysis (however to be a true crazy cat lady you must have no social interactions, so the boyfriend and internet access have got to go).

 •
Excellent analysis (however to be a true crazy cat lady you must have no social interactions, so the boyfriend and internet access have got to go).
Actually, to be a qualified "Crazy Cat Individual", one must maintain a cats/people ratio of 4:1, so she has at least 6 more cats to go. Based on this formula, a boyfriend would be allowable under the "He Must Really Love Her, To Put Up With The Stench" clause. Additionally, internet access has been deemed allowable by the National Un-fixed Tabby Society, as it has proven to have, at best, minimal impact on social awkwardness.

 • Wow, the qualifying standards have really diminished. Please tell me they aren't allowing feral cats to count in the ratio?

 •
Wow, the qualifying standards have really diminished.
After careful review and deliberation, N.U.T.S. had re-evaluated the previous qualifications criteria and determined that it had gradually strayed from its original focus on excessive cat ownership into areas outside of its scope of expertise. Because the modern mental health community eschews such terms as "Crazy", the decision was made to avoid the rather questionable subject of human/human social interaction in favor of the more proper human/feline. As a result, the impact of excessive feline ownership upon one's interpersonal skills was deemed irrelevant.
Please tell me they aren't allowing feral cats to count in the ratio?
Goodness, no. N.U.T.S. bylaws section II, subsection C, paragraph 4 explicitly states the following: "Ferals (Considered to be more than one generation removed from an original domesticated individual, who do not reside within the owner's primary dwelling, and who are not socialized) are not counted toward one's CCI qualifications.

Wow, that's deep creativity there. The detail makes it so real.

 • I work in the financial industry. If you recite sections of US Code Title 27 (Otherwise known as the "Internal Revenue Code", or simply "The Tax Code") long enough, you can make pretty much anything sound official.
