3 things Bungie needs to patch!
Great game, but it lacks a few things. And I wonder why. They do not seem hard to implement.
1. Make the audio volume adjustable. I can't hear my teammates. Every headset you use, has a different level. You need (!) to be able to adjust volume (game sounds vs. voice).
2. Let us "auto-voice-chat" when we meet each other in the tower or on a planet. For example: Everybody within a certain radius can talk to each other. Only exception: You have created a dedicated group chat with your friends running. But it would be so great to casually walk by and say "Hi, what are you up to?!", "You know where I can find XYZ?", etc.
3. Let us change our character after we created it. Sometimes you just wanna change the hair color, but right now you have to stick with it. Whether your are happy or not. Doesn't make sense to me.

What is this? An actually suggestion to the game by a person who likes the game and is just giving some suggestions to help the game and make it better, rather than 'X is OP or UP' or that 'this game is trash, etc.etc'. Nah, but anyway, I like your ideas. They would be quite useful to help bring an atmosphere to the game in the home base, provide easier communication and allow people to have some fun with making their characters Wacky or all mysterious (and interchanging them), instead of having the same character look for X hundred hours potentially.

2 RepliesAgree with 1 and 3...and Bungie is probably going to have relent on 2 at some point. But I understand their reluctance to turn FPS gamers loose with voice-chat. They aren't MMO players...and their track record with voice messaging is pretty poor.

I agree with changing the character after creation the fact that you can be revived from death and can't get a haircut or something is kinda dumb I also want to add the fact that there aren't to many customisation options either I mean why aren't there beards.

5 RepliesMake legendary engrams GIVE PEOPLE LEGENDARY ITEMS. I don't care if you remove the ability to get legendaries out of rare engrams, just make them give what they're marked as.

The crucible do-bad-get-rewards system needs to get fixed. This RNG seems very low-stat oriented. Twice today I had socked the second place people out of the park but got nothing. Meanwhile, they got some nice rare engrams and sweet helmets. Grr. And that Legendary engram crap. I want a Legendary weapon or piece of armor, not a stupid Suros.

I was actually surprised there was no radius voice chat, of all of them.. that is the one issue I really wish was different. Give people that don't like mics or people talking a mute button. Think it would be a win win for everyone.

I always assumed we could simply plug in a mic and talk to each other. Fireteam or no.

2 and 3 agree......Regarding #1, I am able to adjust my stereo/mic headphones' in game voice volume and game volume using the audio adapter on the Xbox One controller. Are you using headsets that plug directly to the TV ? I would highly encourage the Microsoft XBOX ONE stereo headsets....very nice.

Number 2 is a must in my books. Makes no sense to have a game built on being a social gamer and not being able to speak with people in proximity. It’s like trying to communicate between people while each being in their own fishbowl. What’s the point gestures in game don't get the point across. Even a communication rose like BF4 with acknowledged or this way, would be better.

NUMBER ONE IS A MUST!! I CAN BARELY HEAR MY TEAM MATES ON PS4!!! It is VERY CREEPY to feel like there are people <<whispering>> in your ear, because that's about as loud as my headset can get. (I have my headset volume turned ALL THE WAY UP). Number TWO would be GREAT! Number THREE would be APPRECIATED!

#1 Is a MUST! It's getting frustrating to the point where me friends and I don't use our xbox headsets anymore because skype works better to communicate with each other. What's the point in voice chat if all you can hear are your own gunshots and the shrieks of your enemies as their bodies fall to the ground?

#1 Adjustable audio: I have the PS Gold head phone and am able to adjust the volume, but the controls are pretty crude. It would be nice to be able to adjust various Destiny-specific audio settings so that I don't have to mess with my head phone settings all the time, especially switching between Destiny and other things. #2 Local chat would be nice, only with a dedicated button. I'd want to be able to toggle it off really fast if there were malicious people trolling or whatever... It might even be safer if you have to target players you're interested in hearing. And then you definitely need a block list... Maybe a list just for blocking people over voice. Meeting the same random person is so rare, that I'd only care to be able to block per session, probably, too. :/ #3 Character: It was too easy to accidentally click 'X' in the character creation menu, and then when trying to redo it, I couldn't tell which character I was supposed to delete because they had the same race. Can we please have a preview of the character (body or face) with save game load menu? In fact, I'd like to be able to see my character's face somewhere in the regular menus, instead of only having this luxury in the tower. I put a lot of careful consideration into that face. >:[ One last thing, can you bring back Salvage? That was awesome. Looking forward to playing again tonight! --Tomlong75210

I like all 3 of these suggestions with #2 being the one I think is the most important. Followed by #1 number 3# I would love to see but lets get the major stuff handled first.

Bungie also needs to dumb down the fancy network settings for this game. I could barely play it because of connection issues, and I can't adjust my network settings because I live on a college campus.

3 RepliesAgree with 1,with addition: I'd love to be able to kill the music. It's a great soundtrack dont get me wrong, but sometimes I'd like just to hear the environment and other sounds. 4: Be able to skip cutscenes whenever possible when replaying missions.

Absolutely point one. Why have voice chat without being able to control it much? Point 2 would be pretty cool. When doing a public event it would be awesome to have everyone talking when we all join together. Battle Cries, calling locations of enemies, asking for help and revival, and then the friendly and respectful goodbyes when everybody parts way. That alone is an experience worth playing the game for.
