I spent about an hour here earlier today, didn't keep track of the greens, but got 4 or 5 blues and snagged a purple engram. Probably would've been better if there weren't a couple of jokers screwing up the spawns.
Here are some other farming spots, I'm planning to give the Crota one a shot.

People screwing up spawns? I thought it put you into an instanced zone when this mission kicks off? If not that's crap! Anyone can push you out of a zone
