couldn't be happier legendaries are hard to find
I can't be the only one that is enjoying how hard it is to find legendaries right? I don't want the best items to be handed out and think it's pretty ridiculous that people would want it differently. This instant gratification-mentality seems so silly only a week into the game--sit back and enjoy the experience! And sure, it'd be frustrating to find a purple or gold Engram and have it be something for a different class, but it'll make it that much better when you finally do find something. Here's to the more searching and grinding ahead! Cheers!

As I'm sure you've noticed, it's reassuring to read so many like-minded players who realize that legendaries should be just that--[b]legendary[/b] . Anyway, I'm a level 21 warlock looking for other players for fire teams and eventually raids. I play in MDT time zone and prefer people who have and use mics. 9 RepliesYea I couldn't be happier. Didn't have a legendary wasn't complaining, kept getting legend engrams and they switched over to blues, than got a legendary engram and I got my moonhawk so ya happy.

Gotten two so far one as pure luck from a rare engram and the other from grinding my rep with vanguard. Glad we have to work for them.

The raid comes out tomorrow and if you don't have at least one legendary from this last week then ur not trying and I personally don't believe you should get to raid the first day it comes out just because you "paid" for it Going along with the above statement for the people that can stand PvP content you got a guaranteed legendary this week and in 3 weeks will have 4 legendaries also. So last week if u didn't get two legendaries yet you complain about the hours you spent grinding you literally have zero excuses! Agree with you 110%. It's way more exciting when it is way harder to get a legendary/exotic. Got my first this morning and I was yelling out "YES YES FINALLY!" haha

2 RepliesWhile i couldnt agree more,i will say that legendary engrams should acctually give you purples since they are so rare to obtain.i have gotten 4 so far and they all have been decrypted into blues. Quite shotty IMO

First off, its not hard at all to get legendries and plenty of people have gotten exotics. We shouldn't be able to find legendary gear or have it handed too us just for showing up to a crucible or strike, legendary gear should be earned. Exotics? well they should take a long time to obtain over a course of some seriously hard content. they should just change legendries and exotics rarity to common and uncommons. Everything else is just trash gear.

1 Replymy first, and so far only, Legendary Engram was for a primary weapon slot. I was so excited, we rushed through the mission so I could go turn it in. I was all excited and happy to be getting a legendary primary weapon, I was hoping for something I liked, maybe a scout rifle, or an auto-rifle. But I could cope with a hand cannon. I was expecting a pulse rifle, though. Instead.. I got two mote of light. I'd rather have the gear now than be saving motes of light already. I haven't gotten one since. Also about half my blue engrams are turning into green items. Since the Cryptarch is basically a gamble... I demand a new dealer. I can do that, it's in the gaming laws. >.> *sigh* -.-;

I have found atleast 10-15 legendaries. I have 3 Primary legendary guns, an exotic shotgun, and 3 legendary heavy weapons.I'm having alot of good luck.

1 ReplyIt isn't the best gear though.. the raid sets are and to get into the raids to get it you will need either all +15 light blues and an exotic or some legendaries. I have been farming for hours to try and get the required gear to hit 26 yet I still do not have even a single legendary armor piece. It is too hard to find and it causes luck to determine whether you can play the content you payed for.

I have found 1!!! I am a level 24 Warlock but I found a sick Hunter Helm, however I am saving it for my next character. Sad thing is I have only found 1 exotic item too, a nice rocket launcher (level 2 dreg....go figure). So yes it is retarded hard to find good items.

I'm almost level 23 and I have yet to get a legendary engram. But I'm totally fine with that. I didn't think I'd start getting any until I'm level 24-25. I'm almost rank 2 with the Vanguard and will have 100 Vanguard marks later today, so I can start purchasing legendary armor from Cayde soon (actually right now, technically). And even ranking up with any faction takes time, but the reward is [i]easier[/i] access to great gear. Sure, legendary gear you buy probably isn't as great as the stuff you'd find out in the wild, but it's [i]still legendary gear. [/i] Just play the Crucible and Strike playlists. You're pretty much assured great rewards.

I'm fine with them being hard to find, I just don't like the fact when i decrypt it, it's always a legendary for another class or just a rare item worse than what I already have.
