couldn't be happier legendaries are hard to find
I can't be the only one that is enjoying how hard it is to find legendaries right? I don't want the best items to be handed out and think it's pretty ridiculous that people would want it differently. This instant gratification-mentality seems so silly only a week into the game--sit back and enjoy the experience! And sure, it'd be frustrating to find a purple or gold Engram and have it be something for a different class, but it'll make it that much better when you finally do find something. Here's to the more searching and grinding ahead! Cheers!

As I'm sure you've noticed, it's reassuring to read so many like-minded players who realize that legendaries should be just that--[b]legendary[/b] . Anyway, I'm a level 21 warlock looking for other players for fire teams and eventually raids. I play in MDT time zone and prefer people who have and use mics. Im a bit disappointed how easy they are to achieve in crucible but all in all i have to agree it is a nice Thing that they really are pretty difficult to get.

5 RepliesI bitch when a legendary engram turns out to be a rare or uncommon, but in all honesty I agree. If everyone got the best stuff right away, the game would be over because there would be nothing else worth getting. It does suck when you don't get anything, and it feels like all the grinding and leveling is for nothing, but get stuff too fast, and you feel like the game is short and there is nothing else to do. I don't want to put the game down because I have all 3 classes maxed out and everything is exotic before the DLC comes.

The only problem I have with it is I'm super excited for raids and I've been grinding literally ALL WEEK LONG! from the time I get off school to the time I go to bed at 1 am I'm just trying to get to lvl 25 so I can do raids. and guess what??? I'm still not lvl 25 after this whole week because I have the best rares but not enough light. I just really wanted to do raids but I can't. :P

ive goitten 2 legendaries, both of whichg i cant use. 1 for titan the other turned out to be a blue i already had

stop being a glass half full kinda guy. I grant that having hard to find stuff makes it that much better when you do find it but non class items just make it feel hella frustrating like if it wasn't hard enough to level a single class you have to go and make it so that we hurt when we actually find a super rare legendary engram :(

I am definitely enjoying how good it feels to finally get a legendary XD not to mention I love the crucible, so saving up crucible marks for FWC gear is awesome for me XD can't wait to get some exotics

3 RepliesIve gotten about 6 legendary drops and turned into 4 legendaries. Just playing strikes, and pvp, no farming. With that being said if you are a skilled player you will agree with this. Im on top every crucible game I play. I play the hardest difficulty strikes, not nightfall but the playlist. It pisses me off to no end, when I go 27-5 and get nothing. While a kid goes 4-16 and gets a legendary. I do not understand. There is no incentive to be good in this game. All you need is time put in. Its a feel good game, its an everyone wins game. Make it so the top person gets something. Not a legendary, but something like a mote or strange coin. So that same good player wont have to rely on luck to be able to particpate in raids and nightfall activities. For the average players. Bungie made this game for you. Which is fine. You play for a good time. You do ok in crucible. The shotgun is your fav weapon lol jk. But in all seriousness random loot benefits the masses more because there are a lot a helluva of average players out there. Its to keep the majority happy with drops. Not grinders or top crucible players

what makes me so mad is the fact that my cryptarch is a level 12..yet all he manages to do is give me crappy level 16 18 and 19 rares for my legendaries i find. ive found 16 and all but 2 turned into crap. to top it off, one was for a hunter and one was a damn fusion rifle. im a warlock and fusion rifles are garbage. ive had sooooo many rares obviously, since i have a high level cryptarch, and not one turned into a legendary. its literally the most annoying thing ive experienced in a loot game. i cant take the heartbreak anymore! fire the damn cryptarch!

1 ReplySpent 7 hours trying to get legendary's today and found only one. Ended up being a rare that I disassembled immediately for parts. Im all for hard to get legendaries but DAMN. No Vault of Glass for me tomorrow.

I like earning my weapons through hard work. It got old ranking to a level and you get X weapon.

I have gotten legendary engrams but they turned into blue items.. Not happy. My cyrptarch rank is 4, so I'm baffled as to what the ranking is suppose to do for me, because it isn't helping me get better engram items that's for sure. Honestly I'm at the point where I feel Destiny is a waste of time. I've gotten to lvl 24 as a Titan and now I'm super OP but I don't have a single legendary item from drops. I realize theres suppose to be a challenge in getting these items but frankly I'm sick of walking around looking at all these people having sweet ass gear while I'm still getting the crappiest of the crap when I need better gear the most.

Yeah, definitely...played 6 hours one night and didn't find a SINGLE thing better...all my other teammates did of course...after a night like that, excitement for the game really lowered...somethings wrong here. it shouldn't be based off of luck like that.

14 RepliesThe problem is that it isn't HARD to find a legendary. It's purely random. You can play for 3 hours and get one if you're lucky. There's nothing HARD about it. It's bullshit. It should be that if you take down a massive enemy you have a greater likelihood of getting good loot. But, it's just as likely that you'll get good loot farming level 5 mobs. It's retarded. Also, in Crucible -- You can be on top of the list 10 games in a row and get shit, and the guy who is at the bottom can roll a Legendary. This is broken.
