Striker feels like a failed concept.

It's supposed to be THE melee class, but... -Shotguns > Melee, period -Bladedancers perfrme the niche much better. I know Hunter is literally Bungies poster child (If there's a Guardian in a piece of art, 9/10 times a Hunter will be in said art piece, usually front and center) but seriously... -Fist of Havok against PvE Bosses is asking for death after you finish the animation, both Warlocks and Bladedancers (who don't need the enemies grouping up) are better at wiping out swarms of generic enemies. -Landing a good FoH in PvP feels good, but it's a lot easier for a Bladedancer to come out with 3+ kills than it is a Striker -The shoulder attack is nice in concept, but requires you to sprint for too long and if you sprint long enough you will have to stop and charge the shoulder attack again (why the hell do they require you to charge it again after sprinting a certain distance?) -Who the hell is going to invest in Strength to get a lower cooldown on their Melee skill in PvP?

  • After playing around with both I do feel striker is seriously lacking. The shield and shoulder charge are just too finicky to be useful in pvp. FoH is seriously awesome though but most people don't see passed that even though the rest to the striker talents are crap for PvE and PvP.
