Recent update?
Since the update about 45 min ago I haven't been able to join any of my friends in a fire team what's going on?

I have been dealing with this exact issue since launch, I hope they get their act together.

1 ReplyOmfg guys you cant join other players because they did not download the 2MB update yet. If you want to play with the person, you ll have to tell him to get back to the Dashboard, relaunch Destiny and download the update aswell.

Man this is ridiculous. Bungie is failing hard at the moment. They need to act quickly because their rep is definitely hurting after a shaky launch.

6 RepliesEdited by Mystic: 9/14/2014 8:07:24 PMI can't even load up Destiny without being DC'd from XBL. I can play other games, but Destiny doesn't work. Edit: to be clear I have never been DC'd before and my internet worked fine with Destiny until today, after the update.

Day one, worked flawless. Since then its been getting progressively worse. Today alone i have got bumped at least 8 times. I downloaded the update and it still kicks me. Don't get me wrong i love the game, but i don't like being bumped every time i put the game in.Very disappointing.

1 ReplyI too am experiencing same thing. What i did to temporarily fix the problem was to 1. Sign out 2. Run Destiny 3. Press A to sign in Then it should connect and you will be able to play for a couple of hours before it acts up again. I haven't found any sort of permanent fix though. Hope this helped guys!

1 ReplyGo into your xbox live settings and check your network status. Mine says "Xbox Live Core Services" is experiencing issues. I checked xbox help and apparently they're already looking into it.

It had taken us nearly an hour and a half to get to that point. They should make everyone update after a damn game, not during it. Imagine if that happened during a raid? I was really angry wasting that time and it shows that Bungie sucks at implementing 2mb patches.

This happened to me about 2 hours ago. I got booted, and then an update. Once I deleted the update about a million times, it finally seemed to work and let me back on until about 10 minutes ago where it pulled the same crap and said I needed to DL another 2MB update. I like this game, and haven't had any issues with it until today. It's getting a little tiresome

Same issue. Been down since around 11am est when the patch rolled out. The system kicked me out mid game play.

If I exit the game my connection instantly is restored and other games work fine so I know its something purely related to Destiny. I mean damn not even Dice screwed up things this badly with Battlefield 4 and I thought that was the worst I was gonna see from a game for a while, I guess Bungie wanted first place in the screw department. What sort of pisses me off is the game worked fine I've only suffered session disconnection 3-6 times in the past 2 days all and all it was working perfectly for me. I have half a mind to deleted the update and see if that solves my issue since its arrival seemed to signal this current mess.
