same problem as you. also a netgear.
3 days, no access to the game cause of cattle.

Maybe there is problem with netgear routers Has anyone else got the same issue with a different brand?

Im on netgear but it worked the day I got it all night, didnt play again until Friday, well try to play I should say. Four days with no way of getting past the signing in screen. Its a joke!

Well confirms it, i just happened to try using my phone (Hotspot) which is with virgin network. Got on first time. So the problem must lie with Dodo.. only ringing them results in nothing but frustration. it's like speaking to a brick wall. But i don't believe it's only Dodo's fault. why is it only this game that is blocked? Can't bungie do something to correct it?

I believe this game uses a different type of online connection though, much like a torrent. I saw a fix for it somewhere online over the weekend to change settings to allow it but I cant find anything like that in my router settings. its -blam!-ed

Got an update when I logged on today, but same shit, can't get past the sign in screen. Cattle again. What a joke. are you guys in aus?

This is exactly what happened for me, first 2 days worked fine.. without any issues. No disconnects no lag, plenty of other people potting about. Wednesday was the last night i played it, Came home from work on thursday and Cattle. Thought it was a little server problem.. No problem, try again in a few hours. hours turned to days... now its Monday night 16th Sept and i still can not get past the sign in screen due to cattle. Just to note; i also had an old Dlink router, i tried that but it resulted in the same problem. Cattle. I have tried everything with Netgear router, NAT/Port Forwarding/DMZ. even spent an hour yesterday trying random settings i thought might work. switching one off or on, and trying to sign in after each reboot. But nothing. From what i understand on the sign in screen. It goes from : Press x to > Connecting (Bottom right hand corner) >> Signing in (Bottom right hand corner). I am able to connect fine, but then it goes to signing in for an extended time.. then the error pops. every single time without fail.. Also i'm with Dodo ISP from Australia

I called Dodo and they said there are no issues on their end, I think maybe it's the router.

I've tried 2 different routers. Would be nice if we could get some more information from others on different ISPs with similar routers. I contacted Dodo through Facebook this morning, hope for a reply tomorrow. You should all do the same! the more people hitting them up about it. the more they may realise. Its funny that its everyone on Dodo who can't get on

part of me thinks it could be with Dodo. but.. why would it work for the first two days perfectly.. then just stop? something must of changed wednesday night/thursday. I play a wide range of games online, Be it MMOs, Dota, CoD, Fifa, Diablo, GTAV. No other game has ever produced a problem via Dodo.. so i'm not entirely sure what to think.

Omg!!! I have just read this thread and have had the exact same issue. Played for a couple of days and then locked out at the login screen with error code cattle. I am also on Dodo using a net gear modem (DCN1000) living in Perth, Western Australia. Read lots of forums and nothing I have tried has fixed it (felt like I've tried everything!!) until I found this thread and using a hotspot with my iPhone let me on first time! What the hell is it with my connection with Dodo? I have never had a problem online gaming before? I can't use my hotspot to play online as it's a work phone and it will hammer the the data and I'll get lynched! Does anyone have a fix for a Dodo Internet connection? I was so close to throwing my ps4 under a bus until I read this. It must be fixable! Please help anyone, thank you!

exact same as me, dodo, netgear dgn1000 and in perth and exact same error at the exact same place. I managed to connect yesterday using my phones wireless hotsport
