Welcome to the club sadly enough, I've had the game since release and only been able to play for like 2-3hours in total. Longest session being 20-30min, otherwise it's more like 0-5min. I could have been lvl 20+ something if the game would let me play!!
Everything on my end seems to be OK. Followd every instuction but still nothing and now they tell me that a "Patch" is coming Monday for the network issues at Universities... but is this going to help the people at HOME? We don't know.
All I know is on the box it says: "Certain Destiny gameplay and functionalty requires a subscription to Xbox Live Gold." and at the back it says: "Internet connection required..."
I have both of these and it still doens't work. Nowhere on the box it says that you have to be able to change network settings or need a specific type of internet/modem/router... Bungie this is ridiculous please...
I love your game and want to play it more than a few minutes in a row before getting kicked evey time.

Edited by Anndy578: 9/14/2014 4:32:57 AMit seems the servers can't handle even the slightest bit of packet loss and immediately boot you. pretty ridiculous really and i can't even get through a single strike without being booted [edit] now i can't even go 2 min. i'm thinking at this point it might be a good idea to call my credit card company and do a chargeback

Tell me about it.. It is ridiculous seeing as to how the alpha and Beta played perfectly on my setup now I get disconnected every 5 minutes!

The part that make NO sense to me, is I have logged almost 24hrs of playtime with not even a hiccup of lag, now I can't even get into the tower without d/c. There is no rationale for this. Hell, maybe it's that solar flare -blam!-in with everyone.

I had my problems on the Beta but nothing comparred to the full game. 1 time I got to play ~30min in 1 sitting that's all. At the moment I'm not even able to play but when I do it's like this: Finally lands on a planet, rushes to get a checkpoint somewhere, gets kicked, tries again, gets kicked again, tries again, repeats this proces several times before finaly landing on a planet again hoping i get to play till the next checkpoint (20% chance of making it to the next checkpoint).......... This is how I have to play the game for now, NOT FUN, very frustrating.

Yep same goes for me. I'm like level 19.5 and trying to complete bounties to get level 20. Has taken far to long because of these disconnections. Also it's terrible because we can't play in a group otherwise we loose the progress on a mission :(

I've been getting disconnected constantly on my Xbox One, ever since launch day. And bungie thinks it's "my fault" my internet isn't good but it can run titanfall smooth and Netflix ok. I have never had a error on any other game and/or app. Destiny is just a overhyped mess.

It is certainly not your fault as many people are having the same issues even tho their internet is more than capable of handeling this and many other games.
