Empty Lobby/ World PS3/ Mongoose Error
Hi guys, I come to you with a very unique issue. When I log in to Destiny the game puts me in a universe ALL BY MYSELF!!! Not a single player anywhere! I've found a temporary workaround but it requires me to have a friend online at the same time as me. I can join a friends fireteam and THEN and ONLY THEN do I see other players. This makes it impossible to do Crucible and is very limiting. If I had to guess what the issue is it may be my extraordinary ping. I get around 800 ms ping due to satellite internet.
I'm using a ps3 and i've already tried uninstalling game data and re-installing the game and patches, this DID NOT solve my problem.
After a little more research I am noticing a very select few players are also having this problem and it is seems ping related.
I hope you can fix this in the next patch Bungie, I don't want to play alone forever.
EDIT: Just an update, Patch 1.03 has NOT fixed this.
EDIT: Another Update, in-game patch "1.02" has not fixed the problem. Been playing alone for an entire month. thanks Bungie for not focusing on this issue or even acknowledging it.
EDIT: PS3 Patch 1.04 AKA 10/7/2014 hot fix has still NOT fixed this issue.

Well it's now Feb 3rd 2015, and obviously still no fix. All of my friends on Destiny have now vanished, although on my psn login.. I see them happily playing Destiny. The more I play this game, the more I'm coming across more issues. Instead of giving us more guns and pretty glo shaders.. how about fixing these issues that looks like they have been experienced from the very start!

Gametag, suckerpunch509 Xbox1 Error code mongoose Haven't been able to find any info on this error code. Cant get into crucible cant see other players unless on their fire team. I am hard wired to router, have open nat, and have port forwarded. Any help is appreciated. I still think this is a great game despite issues.

I know it's annoying just try to reset modem and router. It helped me out during the times I got it. I've also found out that if I logout of the game instead of just turning off my console I don't get centipede or bat or fly as soon as I get on. This might be cause the server kicks you due to inactivity but ur not completely kicked until u read the message.

Ive been playing fine but the past few days ive been gettng mongoose error and cannot do a single -blam!-ing thing. I have amazing internet too, so idk man.

Same here. Hopefully it's fixed soon. I'm running out of things to do solo. The whole game works fine. Everything except anything having to do with other players. Can't help but to think it's an authentication between Destiny and PS+/Xbox live. Even when I'm on the website or app on my iPhone bungie wants me to sign in, especially when I go to settings, profile or viewing PS friends on the bungie site. It just says for me to log in to view but I'm logged and can go to other subscriber info like clan etc.
