Greetings!
Installation 01 is a fan-made Halo game for PC. Our team is making it for free, as we are required to do by law, meaning the way we get things done is by having lots of people pitch in with their free time. What we are in most need of right now are competent and fast C# and JavaScript coders. There is no money involved, not much glory, but definitely a rewarding outcome, a finished version of Installation 01 that almost anyone can play on their PC for free.
it's a game for fans, made by fans. Emphasis on being made by fans, we are making all the assets, both code and models, ourselves.
Must have skills:
Ability to work under instruction and on a team.
Extensive C# skills, enough to the point at which working with a game engine doesn't sound scary.
Competency in JavaScript.
Work relatively fast when assigned a task.
...It's also a huge bonus if you have past work you can show off.
Post in this thread if you are interested, our coders are watching and waiting to spring upon any potential members :]
Have questions about the project? Go ahead and ask, we'll do our best to answer!

Edited by Funkbrotha10: 9/9/2014 5:42:29 PMI have extensive C# experience with XNA, Managed DirectX and MonoGame. I may be able to contribute but I have a few questions. 1) What kind of source control / version control is currently in place so that multiple people can work on engineering without making a code-mess. 2) What is the technology that you are using to develop the game. I can post code samples from my 2D space shooter game and it's codebase.
