WOW... Destiny... sucks actually :(
I have to say, so far I am extremely disappointed with Destiny, so much so that I'm thinking about going back to Gamestop and asking for a refund or an exchange. I never buy video games except once a year or two because they're expensive and I just don't spend much time on entertainment, so I try to make sure what I do buy is definitely going to be great. And I've been a Bungie fan ever since Halo CE came out, so I felt sure Destiny was going to be really fun.
But so far, I've made it to the moon a bit past finding the dead guardian... and Destiny has been boring.
The multiplayer is terrible. It's like FC3 level quality, and FC3 didn't really even try much at all with their multiplayer. I also dislike how Bungie copied FC3's highlighted in red player who killed you mechanic. It just looks really bad and low quality. For a game like this, if some player who killed you indicator was necessary, then Bungie should have gone to the trouble of putting in a high quality kill cam mechanic, not FC3's low quality highlighter mechanic. However, I honestly don't see anything good at all in the multiplayer.
In fact Destiny's multiplayer is so bad that it has me questioning if Halo 2 and 3 actually had as good of multiplayers as I always thought.
I'm disappointed and surprised to be disappointed right now.

I couldn't agree more and I also hate the whole you need to have xbox live gold to play like really......so basically the game is $120 if you buy a year membership and the game that's stupid and retarted

And then you got on the forums to tell hundreds of thousands (or more) that the game sucks. Think about the consequences of your actions. The things you say are read by everyone, and they judge you on those things. Do you want hundreds of thousands of people judging you by that ridiculous, silly, dribble that just streamed from your brain to the keyboard? I wouldn't.

7 RepliesI'm getting fed up of these posts , I played the alpha ,liked it , played the beta , liked it and ordered the ghost edition on the back of these two tests runs (waiting for it to be delivered) What were they expecting ? It's not like there hasn't been loads of vids about it and more importantly it going to be an evolving story . Maybe they wanted it to be more like cod etc .

As someone who has beaten the game, it really isn't worth the money. Something tells me that about half of that $500,000,000 budget went to advertising.

I hear you cant post ANYTHING negative about this game or the fanGURLZ all jump stomp you. That looks very true in this instance. I wonder how many are actually Dev's and Mod's? No doubt the OP wanted anonymity from the insane fans. Personally I think SOME of the aspects of this game suck! BIG TIME. NO I wont GTFO. I payed for a game and expansions IN ADVANCE so I can say what I please and i'll keep saying it. Every purple I turned in went green or blue. Its the exact same stage's Over and Over. No story... I mean NONE. Just cover the bot. Did you even Skyrim Bro? Half of the place names are stolen from eve online. But the pvp is worse than Dust for balance. The social is.... No You cant even view the grim wa/ or website from PS3. I dont think the game is broke. The gun play is amazing... The graphics are out of this world. There are tons of things that are great about this game. But in the beta, they made out the game was going to be so much bigger. Its not, ... repeat same boss over and over on (insert hard lvl here). I really enjoyed the first few planets, but they stoy just never eventuated. I have to play the way they want and do things the way they want me to, instead of playing how I like and experencing it for myself. The biggest flaw for me... is that I have to break out my laptop or phone to read... these fangurls who attack anything that is against their doctrine. I dont know what they could possibly add in the future to make this a complete game, even though I already paid for the expansions, i doubt id be around to play them if Its getting old already. Its made me rethink why I bother gaming at all.... Then I realised.... its to distract me from how messed up RL is. Damn :(

If you have only just made it to the moon then you have a lot of game time still. To me the game started when I got to raid level. The challenge of nightfall and the hard raid keep me well entertained. The game has many obvious and glaring issues (PvP mainly bit I'm not a big PVP'er cos I suck at it in any game I play). Destiny may not be everyone's cup of tea but given time I am hopeful it will move on to greatness.
