WOW... Destiny... sucks actually :(
I have to say, so far I am extremely disappointed with Destiny, so much so that I'm thinking about going back to Gamestop and asking for a refund or an exchange. I never buy video games except once a year or two because they're expensive and I just don't spend much time on entertainment, so I try to make sure what I do buy is definitely going to be great. And I've been a Bungie fan ever since Halo CE came out, so I felt sure Destiny was going to be really fun.
But so far, I've made it to the moon a bit past finding the dead guardian... and Destiny has been boring.
The multiplayer is terrible. It's like FC3 level quality, and FC3 didn't really even try much at all with their multiplayer. I also dislike how Bungie copied FC3's highlighted in red player who killed you mechanic. It just looks really bad and low quality. For a game like this, if some player who killed you indicator was necessary, then Bungie should have gone to the trouble of putting in a high quality kill cam mechanic, not FC3's low quality highlighter mechanic. However, I honestly don't see anything good at all in the multiplayer.
In fact Destiny's multiplayer is so bad that it has me questioning if Halo 2 and 3 actually had as good of multiplayers as I always thought.
I'm disappointed and surprised to be disappointed right now.

1 ReplyI have gone out of my way to avoid joining Xbox live. I never wanted "A community" to be made aware, that i have turned on my Video Game console. So.....I wanted Destiny, because I heard it was like GTA V on a different planet. So I now am paying Microsoft more money thanks to this game. And my disappointment is growing every time i play. Its just boring. Halo was at least AWESOME to look around and explore. These sets.......are not amazing. Looks like Call of Duty maps. Furthermore, I still dont see why they couldnt have put these maps on a SINGLE DISK - OR TWO, like GTAV and NOT required me to play online. Am i disappointed? Yeah......its boring. I didnt want a freaking WOW RPG type game. I wanted to explore worlds and do cool things. Very let down. There is nothing amazing about this game. I think I might just let my 6 year old play it by himself...he at least thought it was cool.

I have had the game since release and i will admit at first thought i loved it but now whenever i play the game i just get really angry, at myself for buying into the hype , and at Bungie for lieing.. Tomorrow i am taking Destiny to EB Games to use the trade in value of the game as a down payment on pre-ordering GTA 5 for PS4 which comes out the same day as Far Cry 4 (which i also have pre-ordered) so i can have 2 games that i will have fun playing, and be rid of Destiny which makes me angry whenever i play it....... The only way i will purchase Destiny again is if Destiny takes ships out of the loading screen and let us fly from planet to planet, as they -blam!-ing advertised... WTF Bungie *sighs*

I couldn't agree more and I also hate the whole you need to have xbox live gold to play like really......so basically the game is $120 if you buy a year membership and the game that's stupid and retarted
