Yeah. Almost level 22 here, done up through Black Garden. Have a couple strikes left to do, but I really am let down with this game. Fairly fun until you realise how much Bungie told you. They made it seem like they were just scratching the surface. But really, they told like 80% of the game. And they did it a year early. If they revealed it at e3 2014 it would have been a lot better. A lot of the things that made Halo great arent present here, and I know they arent the same game, but there is something about the atmosphere in the old Halos that isnt here. Maybe its not having Marines with you, or the Ghost being boring, but it just doesnt have the same draw for me. They shouldnt have pretended they had more content if they were just gonna have you replay story missions with skulls on, like Reach. I hate that I hate this game, but I hate this game.

Dude I'm going back to Halo, Halo actually had a way better story line and an awesome multiplayer where it was fun this game is dull boring and it doesn't take skill to kill people

I love how for the main bodypoint of your "multiplayer is terrible" paragraph has to do with the quality of how enemy players are highlighted and literally NOTHING ELSE about the ACTUAL GAMEPLAY. The multiplayer is only as bad as you are, by the way, as anyone who played Halo or MW2 (skillfully at least) should have really no problems with it. Seriously, its pathetic that all you talk about is highlighting...

Since the console came out last year most games have been shit(except the remasters). Why dont you go play War Frame then you ASS GOBLIN! And you below me "Venom3Sniper" enough said.

yeah... it is pretty terrible compared to what I was expecting.. shoddy gameplay/mechanics that really cant be sold as a RPG or as a shooter, unless you consider the new COD a good game HAHA.. bad game based on a dead series. No real surprises, nothing to see here folks, move along and wait for something worth the money to come out. I thought the game would be a bit of something old mixed with something new. Turned out to be another shitty game with absolutely no story line. Borderlands (all) were great games, Halo was a great series (until 343 took over), and CoD at least Pre MW3 were awesome shooters. This game tries to be too much CoD whilst ignoring the things that make CoD a good game ie...realistic guns and scenarios. It is Halo without the great storytelling and balance. Its Borderlands without any semblance of the great mechanics and artwork that made Borderlands successful. I can sum up any other review you are going to read in just a few words. CoD with aliens and unbalanced guns... no seriously, its that bad. I played up to 16 so far with hunter class, the PVE is fast paced and engaging at first then once you realize, nothing you do matters and even dying has zero consequences, it loses most of its PVE luster. Then PVP is basically people with legendary guns and abilities that are maxed out (20+) killing people who don't have legendary guns that are maxed out (everyone else). It is comical to shoot someone 10-15 times with your gun and then get 3 shot by the other guys gun.. I cant even imagine what it would be like if the didn't put in the dmg balance, however its such a stupid workaround to just focus skills that it doesn't even matter.. hmm same dmg , ill just get one that has tons of perks and shoots faster with less recoil and piss a stream of bullets into the other guys face. Well I hope maybe they change some of the really gamebreaking problems with the launch, otherwise they will find that the only people left playing it in 3 months will be people who just want to support the development team.

Hey, I agree, it does kinda suck folks. Its way too repedative, I made it to Venus and the game seems to be a Jack of all trades, and a master of none. It has a few moments, but nothing that hasn't been done before, or done better. The confrontations are very predictable, and so far the story seems a bit the afterthought. I've tried to like it, and have found the game mechanics very coherent, but shallow. Mabey its just not my type of game, but honestly having to protect that little ghost everytime it scans something is getting thin, and a very big road weary drag. I also find the rpg element a bit weak, not a huge amount of choices thus far [At least not by level 10]. Its all just kind of cut and paste. Its a shame, because this was such a hyped ambitious project. I just hope it gets better because right now Im ready to truly stop playing, and move onto something else. So far, honestly, the new generation of games all are overhyped or delayed. Here's to hoping things get better. If you like Destiny, all the blessings to you, but so far Im not impressed. Like its said though, variety is the spice of life, so to each his own.
