Someone made a trailer with the exact same commentary a year ago. All you did was add some of the new footage.
Shame the original attempt isn't getting more spotlight.

Honestly had no idea of anyone doing this. I was sitting there watching the trailers and wishing that they were a little more like the old Halo 3 ads. My first try was with the "Rendezvous with death" voiceover from Gears of War 2 but it didn't feel right and then I remembered this speech and knew it would be fitting. They did great also! I'm amazed that someone else just knew the speech had a feel that went great with destiny(albeit they knew a year or so before me) Thanks for showing me this!

Yeah, no problem. I'm just surprised you didn't remember it. Bungie tweeted it and everything. And since the speech expressed everything that Destiny, from a story/artistic standpoint, wants to, i'm not surprised you're not the first. Your video... Wasn't bad. Matter of fact, make more, get better. Accidents happen, sorry if I came out as an ass in the OP.

I started coming back to this site only in the last couple weeks, when the new hawtness came out I really couldn't adjust so I've missed everything Bungie has posted. I agree that this video could be better(I just needed to create something different from The Stanley P.T as that got really popular) but I'm proud of what I made. And I didn't get that vibe at all! I love reading all criticism because it helps me see what I can improve next time, I don't blame you for showing me that someone also did it, it's the right thing to do :)

Yes, they did. The video got more views on More Consoles channel, after he reached out to them, asking if he could upload it so it could become more popular because it was the first high quality fan media. More console was already in Bungies favor, so after he uploaded it, Bungie tweeted it.
