Windows phone companion app

Does anybody know why one wasn't made? Is it down to the contract with Sony like how Microsoft aren't allowed to advertise destiny? Feel a little miffed if i'm honest, sure other Windows phone users would agree :L

There is a guy who has made one for the windows phone search destiny stats you should find it supposed to be pretty decent as well.
