Truth be told I'm not really sure where I first found about Destiny. I knew Bungie was working on a new IP after they left Microsoft. I remember seeing the Destiny logo around the web and some concept art for the Guardians but Destiny did not officially pop up on my radar until late ( maybe December ) 2012 when the guys at my local GameStop first put out there Destiny promotional gear ( stands, card board cut outs, fliers, pre order cases, etc ), that's when Destiny officially became a thing instead of a concept or an idea.
