Why do all these people seem to think they will jump straight into raids?
You guys do know that it is going to take a group of 6 people all level 20 or higher just to stand a chance in the raid?
May I also say that the raid is at Venus and will require doing the story to get there.

dont understand how people cant grasp the concept of the name "End Game Raids" hence something is done at the end of the game!..... how can people not get that?

I'm gonna do my best to explore when I can. All the sub missions while in the explore deployment are really cool. I'll be rushing to get to 15 for the subclass unlock. But I won't be rushing through the story mode content. I'll be farming a lot to unlock and buy in the tower and do all I can in there. I hope everyone chooses to explore and enjoy all the details that Bungie took the time to create for us. It devalues the game to do less.

Because not everyone spends the time to do research on a game prior to its release. Some people are just excited and assume what they believe to be true. Don't hate...but then again, ignorance is never an excuse.

Why is everyone so bent on completing the game. The fun is the story and exploring things deeper. Taking your time enjoy the details.let it be an experience to remember, not a speed run of ocarina of time

11 RepliesI think you are thinking in terms of other MMO games, I know that the leveling may have been accelerated for the Beta but Bungie has already stated that they dont want you to feel like you have to grind to level your charecter. I am betting that by this time next week people will be raiding, how succesful they will be IDK. Its not really a matter of having no life, or not enjoying the story line, or misplaced priorities. You just have a large population of gamers that have the skill and free time to get through the game faster than you average casual gamer. I am not one of those people but I certainly don't begrudge their enthusiasm.

People drive for that title if being the first. Don't strive for only that since there are so many other titles that could be achieved.

3 RepliesI think it's because they want the title of the First Raid clearers and are willing to commit a couple of days to the game. Personally I don't think the game and its raids will be beaten within the first week.....but who knows...... no lifers have the strange ability to surpass expectations....... which begs the question if they have time to no life a game why aren't they helping cure cancer?

Everyone can rush to get that First Clear title if they want. Only 6 people are gonna get it. I'd rather enjoy my stroll through Destiny. I'm not rushing anything. I've waited too long to enjoy this game in full just to speed by the good stuff for a lottery tickets chance at a title. Have fun, whatever that means to you. Rushing, Exploring, enjoying each little tidbit Bungie put in just for us. See you very soon, Guardians.

6 RepliesEdited by kellygreen45: 9/4/2014 3:15:06 PM....and if you're smart, you'll be MORE than level 20 because you'll have taken the time to fully level up your focuses, AND upgrade the legendary/exotic gear you've acquired. To answe your question....they just don't know any better. Which is why I just shake my head and laugh with all these people insisting "Destiny's too small", and that they'll beat everything so quickly they'll run out of things to do. Please.

No one will stand a chance at first, but challenges are part of every journey. Without a challenge there is no true reward. Many people forget this. On a side note the raid is level locked at 25 so you have to be 25 before you are even given a chance to do the raid unless they changed it which i doubt.

People in threads keep saying "The first thing im gonna do when i play Destiny is raid" as if raids will be availible as soon as you play Destiny. Some people are just idiots.
