Hello Jacob Eades,
If you bought the Digital Guardian Edition for PS3, you will only be able to play the DLC and the game for ps3. But, the Ghost shell, vehicle and other in game rewards, can be transferred to your ps4.

Just to clarify. Im not worried about the bundle part of the purchase (ghost shell, vehical), im concerned that i can play the game itself on ps4. (I would be happy to pay a digital upgrade like cod: ghosts did, but idk if thats available.)

Sadly, Bungie haven't talked about digital upgrade like COD Ghost. You would have to buy another copy for the PS4.

I would try contacting sony and ask them if it's too late to switch bungie has no control over the playstation store as far as I know.
