I'm really disappointed with the lack of use for the ship aside from travel cutscenes, but I can understand their struggle of trying to make flight gameplay that. Would not feel repetitive, or boring. I would have loved to see them go about battlefront style though, had they actually implemented ship gameplay. Otherwise I'm still really looking forward to this.

Don't forget, they could also have/may yet use that aspect for Co-Op skirmishes against the AI, just like on the ground missions, could be interesting, especially if it had capital ships in the mix and minefields and nebula :-)
