Not sure how it is on xbone but playing on ps4 with my friends always in party chat so proximity chat would be pointless anyway

its not pointless even tho most times im in party chat there are alot of ppl that play solo and sometimes i play solo myself when my clan isnt on so having the ability to talk and communicate with randoms is always nice and i like helpin ppl who are willing to learn that i stumble across in pubs for all bungies claims of this being a very social game it really isnt tbh

well yea but gotta think beyond urself alone useless feature for u could be a valuable feature for others Killzone Shadow Fall had the same no public comms at launch and ppl didnt like it and it was quickly patched in so to see a game that is suppose to be even more social lack public chat in crucible and not even a basic text chat in the tower which SUPPOSE to be the social hub i mean thats pretty lame on bungie part. I dont even waste time in the tower tryin to meet anyone just get the stuff i want then back to orbit im not planning to do hand signals and inv ppl to fireteams just for a chat

Bungee have said Destiny is a lot of things it's not like they claimed it to be a full open world where you could explore everything and go anywhere you could see but we found out that was not true as well but thatsoff topic don't know if you noticed in the beta but your helmet has a radio so whenever your in a public area you would hear everyone talking I would find that annoying. In the tower you would get people trolling you I would just hate it
