I followed the link in the 1st one and i pressed the button on my ps4 and instead of turning off it goes to safe mode. Im so pissed now

Edited by SiolentCrusader: 9/2/2014 1:25:22 PMIf you did all of the above and below (thanks @True Reclaimer) you should try to INTENTIONALLY activate safe mode before turning off your PS4 and see what happens when you turn it off in safe mode. Or if you turn it off and it's in safe mode try holding down the power button until you've heard two beeps as seen in the video and see if it'll bring you back to the regular PS4 starting screen or maybe even if you are lucky turn off the PS4 and solve your problems!

I guess if you press the ps4 off button it goes straight to safe mode.so you have to turn it of via ps4 menu. Then it works when you hold the button to get the options.

What do you mean? And while in safe mode did you rebuild databases? Make sure to let it run and reset on its own dont shut it off or you will damage the system
