This is how God came to create the world. Once there was a landholder named Abram, who lived in the Mesopotamian city of Ur. Abram, was a gambler, and a drinker. One day, he gambled away all of his land in a few short games. Instead of admitting it to his family, he claimed that a mysterious New God had contacted him. He told his family that this God set aside a new country for them, and that they were to be his chosen people. Abram packed his wives and children, who were supposed to be lost as slaves, and all of his possessions and gold and luxuries and Ur. He knew that if this swindle was found out, he would be killed. Abram also knew that the King could commune with the gods, so he told his family that in order for them to be prosperous in this new country, they must pray only to the god he had made up. When they had gotten to a piece of land that was far enough from Ur for him to hide, and with enough water for them to live, he changed his name to Abraham, claiming that God had given to him as a gift, this way, if any found him, he could give them this new name and deny his identity. The great grandson of Abraham is sold into slavery by his brothers as a child, and is eventually bought as a palace slave in Egypt. One day, he sees the cook poison the Pharaoh's food. He claims that he had a vision in his sleep that the cook would try to kill the Pharaoh. The Pharaoh makes him his second, because he believes he has mystical powers. This was the first great power grab of the Jews. He establishes better roads and better trade between Israel and Egypt. Many years pass, and the Jews are forced from their home. They follow the trade routes to Egypt, and end up massively enslaved. Years pass. Moses is born and adopted by a princess to save him from death. He cannot be royalty because he does not have royal blood. So he uses parlour tricks to force the Pharaoh to free his people. This was the second great power grab of the Jews. Moses writes the Book of Genesis to give his new kingdom inspiration and boost morale during their long journey. And that, children, is how God created the universe. Jews lied, cheated, swindled, and eventually found themselves needing to mass produce their lies to further their agenda and hunger for power. Familiar?
