Just a disguise for a loading screen. Might as well be riding in an elevator like Mass Effect.

Exactly, but at least im Mass Effect, they didn't big the elevators up, saying "Every Shepard gets their own elevator" with promising elevators in action screen shots lol ;-)

I'm guessing you also didn't spend a lot of money for new wallpaper for said elevator.
