There's no reason why they couldn't add it in later. However, it would be a big project. Although, with how secretive they've been with the aspects of the game up until this point, I wouldn't be surprised if they've already been working on it.

Although, with how secretive they've been with the aspects of the game up until this point, I wouldn't be surprised if they've already been working on it.[/quote] I thought it was a big and expansive project WITH ships, but without?.. Not so much... The game is nowhere near as big as it might outwardly seem as it is. Earth for instance, only has the one playable area, Old Russia from the Beta. With all the other locations taken into account, it's been calculated the whole game can be seen in less than 10 hours. Not the expansive game that everyone originally envisioned, though it'll no doubt be fun, I expected it to be a whole lot more..

I also thought the game would be much bigger. But there are a lot of things to think about. They can add on to the game later, we have only seen a small part of the game, Mars could be 5 times the size of Old Russia (which we haven't seen all of yet), and a lot more work goes into the game than we know. Even though I may be a little disappointed about the size of the maps now, I'm not worried. There are still more planets to see and more to come. I'm sure Bungie made a great game! :) But I do see where you're coming from.

You don't know anything about the game its not out yet. Wait until its out then you can gripe.

Interesting article thanks for the link. That being said we haven't played the game let's wait before we assume. Also some developers fib a little to surprise. I could be wrong. If I am you can say I told you so. Then again at that point we both have lost.

Your very welcome :-) I always like to reserve judgment till o see for myself, and I rarely base my purchases on reviews for example. The articles does make you pause for thought though, and certainly sheds light that the game could very feasibly be a lot smaller than many are expecting and is hyped up to be.
