I am sorry, but if you got a low K/D and low W/L and you are saying : I am good in Destiny. Awwwww no, sorry. Anything under 2.00kdr = average gamer Anything under 1.00kdr = bad Like it or not, that just the truth.

  • Sorry but your stats can't line up. Average would be 1.0 KDR. You really have to thank the people that get below 1.0 KDR cause without those people playing you would be stuck at 1.0 KDR also.

So, what about people who don't play PvP? Are we automatically bad at Destiny?

I'm going Focus PvE in Destiny. so no , the people who play PvE will be your effectiveness and the amount of death. No one want to play with some one who is afk because the baby is crying , gf going/came back from work, junk gear, not aiming the head and using useless/pvp abilities in pve. And ... No one want to play with some one who die every freaking 5 minutes.

Actually, I don't mind those people. Some of us have lives. There is nothing wrong with needing to AFK for a few to take care of a baby or saying goodbye to a loved one when they leave for work. Real life family, friends and work should always take precedence over game time. People who aren't aiming at the the head, have improper gear for their build or are using (what you consider) "useless" abilities, might just be new to the game or genre and just need some help. I tend to invite those folks and try to give them tips on abilities, load outs and techniques. Then, I help them run some missions to show them what works for me. Being helpful goes a long way sometimes. Now, if they end up being the kind of asshat that argues when you try to help them or tells you they are awesome and don't need it, then I drop from group and block them so I don't have to play with them anymore.

  • For people who don't play PvP, then it's unspecified. But if you truly wanted a number, then one's Kill/Death Ration would be 0:0. If we were to throw negatives into the mix, it could be seen as a perfect 1. And by Commander Shepar's logic, that makes PvE exclusive players average, as 1 is not lower than 1.00.

  • I play with a guy who we call the "bullet sponge". For some reason the way he plays just attracts a lot of attention and therefore bullets. As a team we capitalize on this greatly, using it to get enemy locations and finish off what he starts. His K/D has always been below 1.0, but we win more often than not when we play together. If you looked at his K/D only you would say he is bad, but I do not consider him bad personally.
