Because they're self centered, ignorant, have never had serious losses/life threatening conditions/ serious health issues etc & can't possibly believe that they aren't the most important thing this world has to offer.

If your definition of a christian was true, then you would definitely be one. That has to be one of the most ignorant statements I have seen in a while. Thankfully you are quite wrong. A true christian is basically the opposite of what you said. Some of the most well devoted Christians I have seen decided to give their life to Jesus because of the things that happened to them. If you think nothing happens to Christians you need to take a look at what's going on around the world. Now I'm not trying to be rude to you in any way. I'm only trying to shed some light on the real qualities of a Christian. It sounds to me like you were wronged by someone who "claimed" to be a Christian. I can assure you that anything someone does to hurt another is against everything a real Christian believes in. If you get anything from this then that is wonderful. If not then I at least tried. Best of wishes to you in your endeavors guardian!

Edited by Absolution: 8/29/2014 4:56:52 AMLogically, If a group of people with a certain faith have never had serious losses/life threatening conditions, shouldn't that kind of make you think they're on to something..? regardless you are very wrong.. either biased or just a hateful creature...

This is so false! I'm a Christian (but don't practice it.) and this is so false

You realize that a staggering number of people turn to religion for those exact reasons, right? Death of a loved one, terminal illness, etc.

That's quite a broad statement there

At least for the most vocal and annoying ones it is, but saying EVERY Christian hasn't experienced loss is a bit of a stretch
