6 RepliesEdited by OnyxPlain: 8/29/2014 10:48:25 PMFor people wondering what happened, The Streamer is Jordan Mathewson or "Kootra" he runs "The Creatures LLC" a business that consists of 7-8 other youtubers that make content and once in awhile live stream on Twitch.tv/thecreatures. In this Instance an individual outside the business, that goes by ScrewPain had found out the location of their offices. He then proceeded to use a proxy and skype/a landline to hide his location and show it as The Creatures offices. He claimed that there was an active shooter with hostages. In this situation the police precinct Moblized a Task force to enter the office space and clear the area of aforementioned active shooter. The when the officers found Mr . Mathewson they didn't know whether he had a firearm or not, and used a required amount of force for and the situation. They use command voice to show authority and this usually makes you comply out of confusion. After talking to Mr . Mathewson they diffused the situation as a hoax. -thank you for your time. -OP needs to include Information in his post.

One day of just investigating they would see that he obviously isnt whatever the caller made him out to be. Police are getting stupider by the day.

If they are not doing, or going to do, something wrong then they shouldn't fear a camera and voice recording. I wouldn't have told the police I was recording. Knocking over the camera was rude and disrespectful. You don't treat peoples property in such a fashion. At the part that it goes black, you can hear the guy telling the officer how to turn off the live steam(I'm guessing the skinny one that didn't knock over the camera). Didn't have to knock over the camera like an ass.... Also notice how the one officer(some one who knocked the camera over) ILLEGALLY searches the persons phone. Recent Supreme court ruling states you need a warrant to search a phone. Excluding time sensitive crimes, like a kidnapping.

He's very lucky the cops didn't go in guns blazing. I can't believe people are so stupid to pull senseless pranks that can result in serious harm to others. I hope they catch the *beep* and I'm glad the guy is ok.

19 RepliesEdited by Samurai Bushidou: 8/30/2014 5:23:02 AMSounds familar to what happen to me at Starbucks in Banning,CA(I was there for MW3 pre-order release) at 6am.I was cold from being hailed on for 3 hours walked in to a Starbucks across the parking lot from Gamestop.Dressed as a Russian paratrooper with full metal weapons,full body armor,gas mask.The people in Starbucks were scared to death LOL.I went and sat on a leather chair and sat there for 15 min,then that's when the SWAT team attacked me with riot shields and rifles(It was amazing).They asked me why was not afraid of them and I answered "I don't fear them and death".But the cool thing was I told them I was there for the MW3 pre-order night. They let me stay at Gamestop just not with the weapons due to scaring the public.So I sent them home.And stayed at gamestop until the pre-order release.It was great day ^_^.I am a console player.
