PS4 Destiny Nat Type 3 Players
Hey guys, I was wondering if there were any of you out there who have Nat type 3 internet on their PS4... If so, please post your PSN id here, so I can add you since I have nat type 3 as well...it will be easier for us to play together.

Yes, i have the same problem. the worst thing is the router which was provided by ISP disabled UPNP setting then i won't enable it. I am still trying to find a way to play without UPNP but it seems like no solution yet. Please add me in. THank you.

Okay, this is staring to get ridiculous. Destiny has told me I have a strict type 2 nat since release...I do not. Since the recent update, now I have a Nat type 3? Stop blaming server issues on people who play your game!

1 ReplyActually, just so you know, NAT doesn't work like that. Open NAT can play with all three NAT types. Moderate NAT can play with Open NAT type and Moderate NAT type. Strict NAT can ~ONLY~ play with Open NAT type. So the way it's been explained to me is like this, if you have strict NAT, and you find yourself in a game with other people, every one of those other people have Open NAT, because otherwise you wouldn't be able to play with them. So, if you're looking for people to play with, find friends with Open NAT type. Someone should put together a list. I have a couple that I know of that may not mind if I gave out their PSN ID, if you wanted them.
