I've been scrolling through the forums and I always see this.

4 RepliesMost of the older demographic in the Christian community are very judgmental and ignorant. (Most) have no tolerance for other religions, sexualities, beliefs, views or uncommon aesthetic features (colored hair, piercings, clothing, etc.)

Trolls and bait. Any time religion is brought up on Bungie(whether pro or against) you can be 99.9% sure that's what's going on.

It's not what they do to you that matters, it's just what's going to be done to you that counts. That's off the point but I think the answer to your question for some lies in the appearance of rigid structural hierarchies which must scare people, my opinions on that don't matter here. There's also the media which is telling those of lower intellect that they should be gay and then which slowly directs them against Christianity when they succumb to those demands with a constant barrage of false information claiming that Christians don't like gays. The strange thing is that the bible tells us that the division I just described is actually the work of God.

What constantly surprises me is when Christians are surprised by being picked on. Jesus literally said that if you follow him, the world will not like you. Yes we are sometimes called stupid or silly, (some lose jobs, but that also is relatively minor) but in America we have it easy. Jesus himself was crucified. Nearly all of his early followers were tortured and killed. Today, we have Christians across the ocean being murdered, tortured, and driven from towns due to their faith, and they seem to complain less than American Christians. It seems much of the American church is missing something serious.

23 RepliesChrisyianity cripples the the growth of our youth by telling them to blindly believe and have faith in something. You should never have blind faith in things. You should be able to question everything and find an answer that can be proven beyong reasonabke doubt. That what the scientific method is designed to do. Not just believe because it's what's taught.
