I'm just wondering how they're going to explain this in the start of Halo 5. We all know not everybody reads these.

Some of us are seriously thinking there'll be a prologue mission in Halo 5 that covers "The Next 72 Hours".

Would be cool, but I'm not sure they would spend resoirces on something they would consider to be already explained

Wouldn't surprise me, as I doubt they'd leave a large portion of the fanbase in the dark. I'm sure they know that'd be generally regarded as a bad choice. That said, I'm interested in how that mission or scene will play out so they can keep things concise yet expansive in its explanation. I doubt we'll see every detail, like Black Team, but I do expect to see something on the composer's abyss... maybe even the monitor if I'm lucky.
