1 ReplyI have to agree with him because MLG players take out the fun in games because they no life pvp modes in which isn't really fun getting killed or when they get killed get spammed with hate mail. One thing is for sure that there is going to be no MLG servers on destiny and what MLG hates the most is equal fighting which all guns do same damage as everybody's so it's nerfed.

1 ReplyPrivate lobbies doesn't mean MLG.... Some people just like to have a casual clan battle or play in a ladder. Not everyone thinks of themselves as pro or wants to make a living out of it. I would say that all the MLG kids are the minority compared to the amount of people that just like to have fun with it.

Yeah don't count me in with your so called everyone because i could care less for them but am glad to have them. They think they're so try hard and elite but in the end all mlg i've come across are bad, literally it's like they brag so much about skill but then whine about us being cheap when they get beaten. It's really funny because when it's a kid who got put in their place you feel great but when it's a grown adult it's just plain sad. If you can learn to deal with it then you'll be happier than you are now and reap some good rewards.

Most games have private matches and the mlg people stick to themselves and don't bother people. That would most likely solve it in destiny. But some people are just annoying and we have to deal with them. I personally don't mind mlg because it usually makes me better in the end.

I dislike pvp for the most part and its not because im bad at it I average a 2.65 kd ratio in most first person stupid games I realy enjoy team based pvp like ctf if playing with like minded friends but be friggin careful letting a 7 year old communicate on live chats with the average gameing community like xbox live psn etcetera there plus 18 and up games and I hate to say it most game communities are chock full of shitbirds im looking forward to the pve and playin with a few select clan members I approve but the pvp seems to be the same ol formula kill just to kill as much and as fastr as u can with no plot story objectiveim makin sob clan adult only and being very carefull after being leadership in freemason dbn ixi etc 10.000 plus babies to watch sucks the fun outa it makin it more a job then game ill have a small clan this ti,me and mute everyone else lol

MLG has no vested interest in a game like Destiny. It's not overly competitive to begin with so I don't where this rant is coming from, but it sounds childish as hell.

It's wrong to extend the "assholeness" to the whole Major League Gaming because of individuals. Edited by DEZARATH: 8/29/2014 7:35:55 PMActually what we want is for PVP to be like Raids. Players have to find other players and form friend lists and clans and it's a opt in game mode. Random matchmaking should really be abolished in PVP for the same reasons it's not present in Raids. It would solve a lot problems for quitting, AFK, and team killers in the long run while igniting communication again. The problem isn't MLG or PVP players as a whole. The problem is Randoms in everything. They shut down communication. They are team killers and griefers. They AFK and harass. But the clear solution is forcing players to actually form relationships with each other in order to play certain modes. This would go a long way in fixing how PVP players are viewed. Because if they want play they need to stop being A holes and actually become civilized to gain more players to work with in the pool of clans and friends playing PVP over the ease of warm bodies filling a vacuum over real friends facing off against a similar team of pals.

I say give the MLG their private matches. In fact if it was up to me, i would leave Destiny as its stand right now with everything it offers, and make a DLC with just the crucible part of Destiny(something like the first light dlc from infamous SS) with a few dedicated servers just for it. That way the MLG can just get the "crucible DLC" and leave the main game just for non MLG gamers. Destiny is a game that its main focus is PvE. PvP in Destiny in my opinion is there just to complement, to satisfy and atract every a mayority of the gamer community. In other words PvP in Destiny can be classified as a casual multiplayer, not competitive multiplayer. PS. That will also will help to clean the bad reputation that some amateurs have brought to the MLG community. It will separate the profesionals from the wannabes.

I actually would find it neat to see pro's playing the game on stream and tournaments being held with it. BUT I also think you confuse who actual mlg players are and then other people who signed up on the site (Anyone can btw) and just call themselves mlg. Or worse some folks usually young kids who just say they are to get attention and raise themselves above others when in reality they are just another player.
