Introductions and Alliances
Well folks, we are getting closer and closer to the big release day of[b] Destiny[/b], and of course, our little roleplaying forum [b][i]BECOMING LEGEND[/i][/b]. As such, I figure it would be prudent to take a moment and introduce ourselves to one another. Roleplaying is an excellent way to form lasting relationships and entertaining discussions, so let's start that here. Share a little about yourselves: Your preferred class, any character or roleplaying/plot ideas you've come across, destinations in the Solar System you really want to see, and heck, maybe even your time zone in the Real World so you can find folks closer to your schedule to Fireteam up with at full release.
On the flip side, for our followers or members who have not yet decided to join our clan, feel free to introduce yourselves as well. All will be welcome on the forum, including non-followers. Heck, I'm even betatesting rules for roleplayers who cannot play the console game, but would love to make a Destiny Character, so even if you're not going to buy the game, feel free to join the conversation. And if you are part of another Clan or Group, by all means, feel free to request an Alliance; allies are as welcome as Clanmates here.

Hey, folks, my Bungie ID is TierceAndVinh, partially to make up for the fact that we can't name our characters in-game. I also go by CatImperative, which is my XBox Live Gamertag. I hail from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia in the United States, the last free bastion of rural life against the creeping dominion of NoVA. I'm a longtime roleplayer, but a first-time console owner; my only other serious console experience has come from the Halo and Halo 2 LAN parties that were the highlight of my high school experience. Ah, to have those days back again... As implied by my username, my current 'main' is likely to be Tierce, a human Warlock who I've imagined as a Sunsinger, but whose story can accomodate changes in class and playstyle depending on what I like. Tierce is not naturally a warrior; before the Collapse, he was an economist and philosopher, which in a post-scarcity society amounts to similar things. His ability to see patterns, not his martial skill, is what brought the Traveller's light to him... though he's quickly brushing up on his gunplay through practice and necessity. Tierce is intended to be Captain America the Warlock, fiercely proud of humanity and the Lost City and willing to give anything to keep it safe, though his story has a lot of potential play and darker paths it could take. His companion Ghost is Vinh, who's adopted a female voice and mannerisms after communion with a fellow Ghost revealed that a female demeanor made Guardians more pliable (just like the Enterprise central computer!). Vinh is doing her best to cultivate Tierce's bravery and fighting skills while attempting to figure out where she fits in the Traveller's last, desperate plan. I have character concepts on the back burner for an Awoken Titan who is a guard and staunch supporter of the Queen of the Reef, a modern-day sidhe knight, and an Exo Bladedancer who seeks to understand life through the medium of art. Any art. Sometimes bad art. However, they'll remain background characters until Tierce is well on his way, or unless I want to dip into a different playstyle. Not having had time to play the beta, I'm not 100% sure which will be the best fit, though Warlock in both flavors looks damn good.
