Pretending to threaten a persons family is never the answer. You handled the situation in one of the worst ways possible, and you only furthered the despairty in the world by instilling fear for his family into that mans heart. Everyone has their problems, and even if they are being crude, doing the same things to them does not accomplish anything. But I suppose you would feel no shame from something like this because you get some pitiful kick and a small sense of victory from things like things like some 10 year old "winning" an internet argument. You make me sick. Kill yourself.

Then you're a chump if you take it personally. No matter what he could say, he doesn't know her, so you know none of his insults to be true. I don't care how terrible the insult is, because retaliating like that only implies that you're insecure, which you clearly are, and feel that the insult has truth to it.
