Go on this video and starting at 4:48 we see a brand new location on Earth. (From what I can tell.) Then shortly after a new crucible map on one of Mars' moons and something like a dragons skeleton (Rib cage) on a place on what I can guess to be the Moon. I call this DLC because they showed the footage after mentioning the 2 dlc packs and how they'll expand Destiny. It seems to be from before the golden age (more present day) and i'm pumped.
Edit: We can see a flag and banner on the left that might tell us something about the location.

Thanks for the info . I hope I'm just as excited as everyone else and entitled to love the game just as much as everyone else who knows more than me. I didn't see that yet.... I work a lot lol. Thanks again

Edited by Cardinal Erebus: 8/29/2014 1:01:48 AMThis video of the extra expansion packs is old by at least 2 months. If you only saw this now in this interview then you dont what much news about destiny. It's not
New DLC image found! New Locations!
as the title states. A interview with Luke smith has the exact same footage around 2 months ago and a interview with Deej 3 months before that too. Not new to everyone. Just new to you NobodyEpic because it doesn't seem like you follow the news of destiny well. Not going to reply because your information is going to be outdated, much like your topic.

So, we have this 'golden age' thing. The hight of human society, and technology. We designed the Exo race. Colonized planets, and moons. But we didn't get flying cars....
-
Pretty sure the area at 4:48 is from the house of wolves expansion. It seems to show up whenever expansions are mentioned in vids.

Day one DLC kek

The darkness below prolly.

The video itself is very intriguing with the way they are describing going forward in development. It sounds a lot like they are planning the "sequels' more like big game expansions, very interesting. Would love to see the game carried on like an MMO where they just forever expand on the universe instead of starting from scratch every time. It would allow things like adding in classes, subclasses and skills (maybe races) to the next game and allow you to be able to go back with those classes and play through the original game in the upgraded engine with its higher fidelity visuals, higher frame rate, improved AI. Bungie you are on the right track this game is going to be something intense.

Watch it looking backwards the guardians are walking into the portal....slip space? Time travel... the location on earth doesn't seem to be multiplayer your going back in time for reasons unknown The green portal is of the same tech as the one in the tower which monitors the traveller sphere Those R some big bones the travellers scared underneath a dragon could grab on underneath The speaker says the darkness is coming back It might not be the races fallen, vex etc
-
There are also rusted out automobiles in that location.
-
Bungie is a bunch of money hogs
-
The first thing I thought about watching the raid footage. -blam!-, now I gotta do this with multiple people.
-
That weapon at 6:25 looks amazing
-
Also on the top of the map, is a place called "reef" and kinda looks like a pyramid
-
This was seen in the collectors editions unboxing video. It looks like the European dead zone
-
Edited by That Halo Dude: 8/27/2014 11:20:44 PMWhoa. That location actually looks pretty cool. I hope it doesn't end up just being a Crucible map. And those are some scary huge ribs the Guardians are walking through. We better get to fight whatever killed their owner.

The cylinder of light is most likely inside the Citadel, but I could be wrong. However, the other locations, such as the one on Earth, the Moon map we haven't seen footage of yet, the ribcage, and the Mars footage, may be in the expansions.
Get it first on PS3 and PS4! :^)

Making fun of marketing
Old Chicago maybe?

Edited by TK129: 8/27/2014 10:01:33 PMThose 4 clips are definitely Expansion Pack content. The first I agree is most likely Earth, and not Old Russia. Looks like it is likely a PVP map by the layout, and that architecture, the large building and the church in the background seem European in style, so I'm thinking a PVP map set in the European Dead Zone. The second small clip is PVP and the orange lighting emanating from the huge Red Planet in the background makes it clear that this is Phobos or Deimos, Mars' moons. I wouldn't know any way to discern which as I don't know much about them. The third, with the big rib cage could be deeper in the Hive lair although I'm not sure, and as it's underground in a cave-like area, it's hard to take anything from the environment that suggests any particular planet or moon. The fourth, where the fireteam is moving toward that pillar of light or something, it's again hard to take anything from it, but from what we've seen of Mars the architecture seems similar in style. Although the platform they're on and the rings around the pillar are very similar to the Vault of Glass. Could be something to do with Charlemagne on Mars. The next raid maybe? That's what I could glean from pausing the video on each of those clips. Only things we can confirm are that each expansion gives us at least 1 element from all game modes available in Destiny, along with more gear etc. So some PVP maps from new areas, including what looks like The European Dead Zone and either Phobos or Deimos. At least 1 strike. More story missions and likely a new exploration/patrol area. It's a sure thing that means we get a new destination to explore. So a new location on a planet/moon, or a new planet/moon altogether. The hype train rolls on.

To me it looks like it's located on the moon. Probably deeper within hell mouth. Or on earth, but within the hive infested area.

Great find! Enjoyed the little snips of what's to come even later down the road! #destiny #legend #dlc #pve #pvp #strike #crucible #ImJustHavingTooMuchFunNowLOL
-
nice find! This is defiantly not the last city or old Russia. I would assume that is indeed DLC
-
That's a crucible map
-
I'm thinking that was a sneak at possible areas from the expansion packs but hopefully it is on earth when it first comes out
-
Interesting kinda looks like a multiplayer map
-
That area has been known for a while, or at least a picture of that area has. You also forgot to mention that right after that, they showed off A Crucible map on Phobos, like I did 50 mins ago :)
