OP, if anyone is in denial, it's her. Sarkeesian is full of bullshit and everyone knows that. Her arguments always lack depth, consistency, and logic, yet she keeps posting the same videos to cry victim. Not only that, she takes things completely out of context and disables any ratings or comments on all of her videos. At the very onset of criticism, she buries her head in the sand.
All she does is complain about problems that don't even exist while shutting out any dissent.

Sarkeesian assumes too many false positives. By that I mean she assumes that everyone who disagrees with her just spews out insult after insult, when there has been countless videos refuting her with cohesive logic. Hell even TAA gave a good rebuttal.

You might have videos by people who have a point, but comments by average users are by and large vile, disruptive, and deliberately incendiary. I watched one of her Twitch streams a few weeks back and the comments were filled with vague threats and sarcastic accusations of misandry or questioning her sexuality or typical "Why are you such a dumb bitch" posted by people with racial slurs in their usernames. There was a post on 4chan at the time directing people toward the site and encouraging them to raid it. Sarkeesian isn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination, and she shouldn't be left completely unchallenged or uncriticized. But because so many of the commenters attacking her do so because they're riding a bandwagon or she's an easy target or because they just want to disrupt and spread as much hatred as a comment box will allow... naturally she's going to have very tight restrictions on who can comment on her videos. And given that she just recently had to move out of her home and alert the authorities because of death threats by someone who wants to spread the address of her and her parents around the internet, I think she has a right to take these actions.

Anyone who posts something controversial needs to be prepared for a backlash. That goes for a feminist blogger or a men's rights blogger. One can't just assume that all posts will be respectful and polite. There will always be at least a few trolls, like the one in that twitter feed, that post those comments just to incite a negative response. Am I saying the female tropes in video games are acceptable? No; I feel that my opinion on any tropes isn't relevant to the big communication problem. Am I saying that the videos that, say, Thunderf00t or TAA posts are without flaws? Of course not. But at least YouTubers against Sarkessian allow some sort of discussion to take place. I'd respect her a little more if she was willing to debate; obviously opening ratings and comments would do nothing to stop trolls and douchebags, but it will demonstrate her tolerance of dissent.

They make facile points that people receive well because, yeah, guys - especially ones who frequent spaces dominated by men generally - are eager enough to see feminists 'disproved' they'll accept just about anything that will assure them those awful women who implied you might have said or done something a bit sexist now and then or benefited in some ways from historic and contemporary power imbalances are just loonies. People silence support of and activism for oppressed groups with dumb arguments that people readily accept. Not exactly news there. That's not to say there isn't any criticism to be had of her videos, because obviously there is - it just doesn't come in the form of a 'refutation', because while you can certainly dispute individual points she might make (and plenty of people have, for example, over the way she talked about sex work and the implications of it in her previous video, without claiming it to be a total refutation of everything she says ever), you can't really argue that games don't often have problems with the ways they depict women. You'd have to be totally detached from reality to think that's the case.
