Alright, crazy theory time, there's six Halo's left, and the Didact has six Composers. The Didact goes to Installation 03 and places one of the Composers back into the spot where he took the Halo 4 one from. Being that both the Halos and Composers are Builder designs, I think they were designed to work in tandem.

Reminds me of the Citadel from Mass Effect, and how it could be modified with the docking of the Crucible. It's an interesting theory, and would make sense. Pretty huge deal. Now, I'm trying to remember if it was only the larger Halos that could have their pulse directed at a specific target, or if that's a trait of all Halo rings.

Destroy the Prometheans. Control the Prometheans. OR BECOME THE PROMETHEANS, SHEPARD!

I've noticed I usually pick the 'fusion' option in games - Deus Ex (original), and Mass Effect 3 - but I'm not too keen on becoming a mechanized Promethean. With that said, I'd chose to assume direct control. The Didact's army is now MINE.

So firing the Halos would compose everything instead?

Still, what would be the point of composing the entire galaxy? Enough troops to battle the Flood when they return full force? Maybe. Still, I think the Didact wouldn't want to eliminate every species like that unless he has truly gone mad from the Gravemind's torture. Perhaps that is the case though.

Halo can tuned to target specific frequencies and fire at different power settings. Of course, the default power setting has always been galactic destruction.

Yup. That's the theory.
