The "sub group" tag does not pull from the "main/parent" clan in game. It pulls directly to the name of the clan it's registered under.
Example:
Super Awesome Dragons - Main Group, Clan Tag is "Super Awesome Dragons"
PvP Dragons - Branching Alliance Group, Clan tag is "PvP Dragons"
Lore Dragons - Branching Alliance Group, Clan tag is "Lore Dragons"

Edited by Spawn: 8/27/2014 1:47:53 AMFrom what I understand, the intent is to focus on small clans (limited to 100 members) so that players can get to know each other over time. You can set up sub clans that are allianced with your main group to decide specific activity amongst them. If you're looking for a massive amount of clan members, that's actually called a group.

Yeah I know but my small clan transformed to a big one
