Just a thought, whats everyones opinions?

Your ghost actually fixes the gravity for you

Edited by Nostradominus: 8/27/2014 10:10:51 PMYes, because the moon, terraformed, would not change it's density much and with the gravity depicted it would cause huge tidal changes here on earth. Since the moon's gravity is 1/6th earth's if it had earth's gravity we would have tide's 6x as large as we have now. Also I think it would be a fun game dynamic to have low gravity. It is not the terraforming I have a problem with, that is feasable.
-
Not really because in the lore they say they terraformed the planets, making them feel just like earth
-
Bungie have created a great get out of programming jail card for this and its called the traveller which made most planets in our solar system habitable!
-
Everyone says yes but I'm sure that if they did everyone would just bitch about how annoying jumping on the moon or something is
-
Neil Degrasse Tyson would have a fit. Me, I'm not so bothered.
-
we wouldnt be able to play on venus if you want to be all technical
-
-
-
Yes I should and even if the traveler changed the gravity on the moon for example it would pull itself to earth and crash!
-
No, the gravity should not be different. It's space magic.
-
-
From a scientific standpoint, they'd have to be different even after being terraformed. From a gameplay and design standpoint, it's not worth all the extra work to make them different. Verdict - I think Bungie made the right choice.
-
Nah, since the Traveler made all the planets Earth-Like I don't see the point.
-
I would like it
-
The traveler took care of that for us :D
-
Don't expect bungie to think of something that intelligent.
-
No, they'd have to rebalance every planet, and change level designs, heck the enemy spawns would have to change too.
-
It can't happen because back in the golden age the traveler balanced out all the gravity to normal
-
Nah. I mean it'd be neat and all, but it'd require radically different level designs. We've got space magic to explain away any apparent inconsistencies.
-
Yes I want Moon jumps

Gameplay Experience > Science Gravity mechanics are only fun and novel for the first 15mins. Then they become tedious, repetitive and annoying.
Just a thought, whats everyones opinions?
nope the travel made atmosphere and gravity the same to support life (like earth(
