Honestly, even though this is a Sci Fi game and bungie can put in whatever they really want... dragons in Destiny seem out of place. It's like getting to the end of Halo after fighting alien hordes and then the final boss is Conan the Barbarian. I mean yeah Dragons are cool. I'll just have to see how it plays out and how they fit in to the world of Destiny.

Then don't think of them as dragons. Think of them as a Fallen Broodmother, whose place in their culture has been cemented by the ferocity they wield and fight with in the battlefield. Their size and strength is immense, and they can constantly spawn smaller fallen to get in between you, and themselves.

I like that haha. Even if they are dragons, I'm just hoping it's done in a way that they fit in... I personally think dragons are awesome and can't wait to fight one :) I'm just hoping they don't feel too old - school fantasy because I think that wouldn't fit.

Alien dragons otherwise known as space dragons!

Originally Destiny when it was code named Project Tiger was going to be a fantasy game when first created. That's why in some if the really old concept art they showed there are giant toads and goblins an castles. But then they said,"what would a dungeon be like in the future? What does an assault rifle look like next to space gold?" And Destiny was born

It would be an alien creature which looks dragon-like. What's the problem?!
-
Yeah that's what I'm thinking... I don't really have a problem at all because they could be epic, I just hope they blend well into Sci Fi and don't seem like out of dungeons and dragons haha.

Not sci-fi, mythic sci-fi
-
That's a good point, I mean there is magic... haha

I'm inclined to think that if all this is true, they'd be more alien, like banshees from Avatar. European/Asian style dragons definitely have no place; Bungie would bring dragons in the right way

Yeah I have a lot of faith in Bungie, I'm really excited to see how they actually are in the game!
