Go ahead and buy the one. It's already at its graphical peak. The PS4 has 50% more room to grow graphically. That would stretch the Sony closer to 4k. Listen to me, Xbox one has had 1080p games and the 1st next gen game at 1080p @ 60 fps which is Forza 5. All the stuff you spoke about is old news that no longer even matters at this point because the resolution gate argument is moot. I made my points I am done with it. Call me ignorant call me whatever name you want to but the facts you posted are moot at this point.

You can disable functions to free up memory for processing. The PS4 has 50% more in reserve & should be able to run 1440p @ 30 FPS! The only way to get a huge boost in power without a trade off is to replace the GPU & RAM. If I buy a xb1(when lol), I will upgrade them on my own. They both used off the shelf PC parts. Time will reveal this to you! The Xbox 1 is your basic desktop of today. The PS4 is a mid range Gaming PC of today. We all know which has more gaming capabilities. It's always the GPU & RAM that make the gaming PC more powerful. Yes, you can tweak clock speed to squeeze more bandwidth out, but not 50% more power! Were talking 1% maybe while adding heat. I'm still scratching my head over the ram choice. It's the sole reason I bought the PS4 first! :/ a simple recall would change everything! Maybe I'll start a petition to get Microsoft to do it. I've got to play my Xbox favorites or I'll feel incomplete!!!

With the GPU diff it could prob run 1440p @ 30fps. That's just a educated guess. I have no numbers to back that up! The only time you would notice the diff between 30 & 60 FPS is when a shooter has a full screen. It just worries me because the 1 is so close to its maximum. I enjoyed the debate!
