If you do then great! You know how to control the game! If not you might wanna check out my video on callouts. This is my second video and I am currently working on the third. So far I have covered Venus and the Moon. Even if you do know your callouts, you might wanna brush up or learn pinpoint callouts

I chose lone wolf, however when I have team members, then yes. But I normally don't have a full time with me at all times, so lone wolf was the way I chose to go =) if I could vote twice I would
-
Never, but sometimes I'll make up random ones just to have a laugh
-
I don't do callouts on any game unless I am in party chat with friends, and even then we usually just talk about random stuff. Besides that the whole lobby is muted and I don't use a mic when I play alone which is most of the time. I enjoy peace and quiet and just the game audio, not constant chatter from people I don't know.

Yeah, I like to have control of everything that's going on in the game. So, I usually give my teammates at least a general callout. The bare minimum sounding something like, "We've got HungryLeopard72 in the crouch animation near A flag's mid-map-facing cave entry. The 18th pixel on his knee is on the 16th pebble's lower quadrant 3rd pixel where the heavy ammo respawns. He is absolute, wielding a Hand Cannon dealing 56 damage. We have confirmed one bullet in the chamber, and he is approximately 2.66 -repeating of course- percent into the reload animation. Engage immediately."
-
I use them But my friends are still either Active Duty or now Vets so we always use out Military training even to clear a room in the game :)
-
In BF3 me and my friends used to use callouts and clock orientation: like enemy vehicle12'o clock, or sniper 6'o clock. We would just make up our own "north" on the map which became our 12'o clock. When the compass came out in BF4 it made a world of difference to me but it's multiplayer levels were quite large, some with large open fields that were more difficult to identify a target by callout so the compass came in handy. What I've seen on Destiny Beta doesn't lead me to believe we will need as much use for a compass (although id rather have one then not) so maybe callouts are the best way to do it.
-
Callouts are best left for groups of people that play together on a regular basis, team wise like a clan will do. don't get me wrong when I played BF4 and halo4 they had callouts but since I wasn't in there loop I was very lost in trying to understand what they were talking about and muted them for talking way to much and like killing my ears xD
-
How do callouts end up standardized? Seems like different groups would have different sets of callouts.
-
Yea bungie is gay
-
I give video a c- i would definatley go to Nova Borns newer videos and takes some notes.
-
"Together we ride or I'm gonna--" (team mate) "leeeeeeeroooooooyyy...mmmjeeeeenkins". On a serious note, yeah.

Edited by Agitated_Squirrel: 8/24/2014 2:07:25 AMUm yeah, how else will i tell my friends where to go when i make my no scope 360 montage. ;)
-
Edited by Gremzington: 8/24/2014 2:47:03 AMI only say "there's a guy at B" or whatever I don't say like "back c plat" cuz nobody except the people who saw your video will know what the actual -blam!- I'm talking about
-
The only time I use callouts is when I am in PvE, and that amazing Callout is the Point function for loot.

I prefer plugins.
CS joke.
My team doesn't really nane landmarks, but we'll call out enemies coming towards control points and what direction they're coming from. On Shores of Time, I like holding A just because it's so defensible and has the heavy ammo right there. C is my secondary concern, and I'll generally let the other team take B; it's pretty easy to chuck grenades/supers into B and nab some group kills.

Edited by Scooby: 8/23/2014 9:54:32 AMYour that guy from Hawaii that made that bad ass vid. Glad to see/hear your ok .And on the post some of my friends still do
-
I used to in Halo 2. People actually had mics and people cared about winning so most knew the callouts.
-
Thanks for the vid, call outs help a lot, no sense of direction in real life either, spin me once... I'm lost ;(
-
I liked the system in reach where every part of a map had a name and it told you where you were on the hud. Much better than saying "there is a guy next to the box by A "
-
I'm stupid and ignorant. Now that that's out of the way, what's a callout?
-
OP that's very nice......... You imply that I have friends, I now has hope TO BECOME LEGEND BY DEVISING A COMPLETELY INNAPROPRIATE CHANGE IN MY TONE OF WRITING
-
I say I'm right here when ppl ask where I am
-
I do. However no one ever listens. Unless you're playing with a friend no one will care as they just want to do their own thing.
-
I try and point and dance....
