Been playing Dust 514 since the beta closed...I actually like Dust better.

It does scratch an FPS itch that a lot of other games cannot do. I think it's because it has that "Vegas" feel to it. You gamble with higher tier suits, and you can lose money or gain glory :)

or just run the low tier suits so you can and make mad cash for no reason lol but I hear that. I just like the gameplay. team based objectives...with an actual "team" to play with.

We run factionals with 16 players on comms all the time. It is alot of fun to play this game with a coordinated group.

lol That must be just total domination. Steamrolling the maps. XD nice!. I used to run with a big fps clan/league, but I'm getting older now...I can't handle massive groups on the mic anymore, I enjoy being able to play as the lone wolf and run counter operations to capture points where the enemy is weakest, or team up to capture the main objective if ppl are going for it. it's nice to have that kind of variety, and still be able to contribute to your team etc. I really enjoyed it more than I thought I would, it's been a long time since I've had that much fun just running it "solo" in a fps.

DUST does have that niche though. You can run solo if you have very high level gear. Actually, it makes for some of the most highlight filled matches lol.

lol exactly. I wish that the gameplay in Destiny was more like that. I was really hoping for something more like Dust 514 or maybe Unreal Tournament rather than the very basic 3v3 and 6v6 "Halo type" versus PvP. I wish they had larger maps and more vehicles and objective based gameplay. Feels like all we are going to be doing is using Supercharges and nades (alongside guns and melee attacks) to play in PvP and that the vehicles are just there as a bonus...I was really hoping for the good old 12v12 on huge maps with lots of verticality, vehicles and stuff to do with them.
